Class Info/Registration
New adult classes are forming for winter of 2026.
Classes are 8 weeks long and include 2 hours of lab time per week.
We offer four classes:
Saturdays 10 AM - 1 PM with lab time every Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM, Jan 10th thru Feb 28th.
Saturdays 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM with lab time every Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM, Jan 10th thru Feb 28th.
Tuesdays - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with lab time immediately after from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Jan 13th thru Mar 3rd.
Wednesdays - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with lab time immediately after from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Jan 14th thru Mar 4th.
These 8 week lessons are perfect for beginner and advanced potters alike to learn and explore in a small group setting.
Classes are limited to 6 students to allow for plenty of one-on-one instruction. Students must be 15 years or older. Lessons are focused on throwing on the pottery wheel as well as hand-building. Lab time is used to practice skills learned on lesson days.
$295.00 per 8 week session
Price includes 25 lbs. of clay. Pottery tools will be needed and may be purchased from us for $20.00.
Additional clay may be purchased from us if needed for $40.00 per 25 lbs.
Payment is required to hold your spot. Payments accepted are Credit Cards, Venmo, or personal checks. 100% refund less 3% process fee if cancellation up to 4 weeks prior to first class. 50% refund for cancellation until 2nd class. No refund for missed classes for any reason. For classes cancelled by Oak Grove Pottery due to weather, closures, or instructor illness, a make up class will be scheduled.
